PSO offers youth basketball for boys and girls, ages 4-12. Our program is divided into 3 levels: NCAA, NBA and Spring Select League.  Read below and click the links on the right side of the page for more details.

 

Boys & Girls Basketball Leagues
PreK - 6th Grade

The Prestonwood Basketball League  provides children with a safe environment to improve their knowledge and skill in the great game of basketball.  Our NCAA League encompasses the PreK-2nd grade divisions.  These divisions play cross court games on lower goals that are age appropriate.  We utilize coaches and volunteers to referee the games.  No score is kept at this level and there are no league champions recognized.  Our NBA League encompasses our 3rd - 6th grade divisions.  These divisions utilize the full court, use certified referees, utilize regulation goal heights (3rd grade plays on 9' goals), keep score, provide standings and in general present a situation that could involve competitive pressure.  An end-of-season single elimination tournament is played to crown a champion of each division.  Trophies are given to each player on the 1st and 2nd place teams.  We do allow formed teams at every level.  Some players will come in on a pre-existing team while others will come individually. We encourage both and strive to create a balanced and highly competitive league.   Click here for more detailed information.
