Head coaches will sign up for limited practice space before the coach meeting on August 21.

Team Formation
Teams are formed based on age and ZIP code. PSO accepts full or partial teams. Players will be placed on teams after the final registration deadline. A player CANNOT be assigned to a team unless the online registration is complete and payment has been received. There are two player placement possibilities:
- Player Pool (New Players) – Players entering PSO who are not on an established team will be placed on teams as close as possible to their ZIP code and/or school. Please indicate any special notes in the “Preferred Coach” section of online registration.
- Team Pool — Coaches of returning teams must invite all their players to play again. Past players will be placed on the same team as last season by PSO staff unless they request to be in the player pool. Players who played with PSO last season may request to be placed in the player pool if they do not wish to return to the same team. Players are not allowed to request to play on a specific team unless they are a new player in our league or have not played at PSO for one year.
Uniforms/Equipment
Head coach is responsible for uniform ordering. Each player is responsible for paying head coach back for the uniform. Players are required to purchase their own soccer cleats, shin guards and appropriate size soccer ball based on the chart below.

Spiritual Development
In keeping with our mission, PSO soccer is committed to introducing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to our players and mentoring them in the Christian life by the example set by our coaches and league officials. To that end, coaches will be supplied with value lessons that will be shared weekly with their players before each game. Additionally, prayer will be common at practices and games.
The Gospel will be presented to all players 3rd grade and older during one of their games, giving them the opportunity to respond to Christ's call on their lives.
