PSO SPRING 2025 DH LEAGUE INFORMATION
Please, NO PETS are allowed on any of the sports fields, playground area or sand
volleyball courts unless they are clearly marked SERVICE ANIMALS.
SPRING DH LEAGUE - 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U Select/Tournament Teams Only
- Team Fee - $1500
- 5 Double Headers
- 90-minute games or 6 innings, whichever comes first
- Straight baseball
- Minimum 10 players per team
- Games on PSO Fields 1, 2, 3 and possibly Graham Field
- Opening Day - February 15 (Season will end by March 29)
- We DO NOT accept individual registrations or place kids on teams for the Spring DH league.
Pitch Count Rule- Each half inning will be comprised of 35 pitches max.
- Once a pitcher reaches 35 pitches or 3 outs, whichever comes first, the inning rolls over
- If a pitcher reaches 35 pitches before getting 3 outs he is allowed to complete pitching to the current batter
- If there's a pitching change during the inning, the combined max number of pitches is 45 before the inning rolls over. If the pitching change is made prior to the pitcher of record reaching 10 pitches in that inning, the new pitcher will still be on the 35 max pitch rule per inning
- 9U and 10U - No pitcher shall exceed 60 pitches in an outing
- 11U, 12U and 13U - No pitcher shall exceed 75 pitches in an outing
- Coaches are responsible for keeping track of pitches each inning
Player Eligibility
The age of the player on May 1 of the playing season is considered the league-eligible playing age. Players are allowed to play up, but require league permission to play down.

PSO Fall DH Baseball League Information
- It’s a great way to get more developmental innings for pitchers while watching pitch counts, get more fielding reps and more ABs so your players are ready to go in the spring
- This league is designed for already formed High School and age appropriate Select level teams
- The Team Fee is only for formed teams only - we DO NOT accept individual registrations or place kids on teams for the Fall DH league.
- Age divisions offered: TBD ( typically 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and JV (HS 9th and 10th grade level, ages 14–16) - Offerings will be finalized summer of 2024
- Season begins: TBD
9U, 10U, 11U/12U and 13U DH League - Limited to 6 teams in each league
- $1,500 Team Fee
- All expected roster players must register online using the team code sent by the head coach to be added to the official rosters (no individual registrations will be accepted).
- Roster size is at discretion of the manager; all players must be registered and on the official team roster.
- USSSA Rules (13U plays by NFHS rules)
- 13U - 54/80
- 11U and 12U - 50/70
- 9U and 10U - 46/65
- 2 Umpires
- 2 x 90 minute games w/15min break between games (game stops at 90 mins)
- FALL - Modified Lead Off and Base Stealing Rules for 9U and 10U (Fall Developmental League only) - 11U and 12U is straight baseball (see below)
- SPRING - Straight Baseball

- No post-season
- All games played on Saturday's
- Games will be played on PSO Fields 1, 2 and 3 (all turf infields)
9U Modified Lead Off and Base Stealing Rules (Fall Developmental DH League ONLY)
- Lead Offs and secondary leads allowed.
- Runners can't steal until the ball crosses the plate.
- Runners can advance on errant pick off attempts and overthrows as far as they're able.
