RETURNING PLAYERS: DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR CODE.

Before you register, get your registration code from your Head Coach.

You will need this code to complete your registration.


6v6 Format – Grades PreK–6th Grade
7 regular season games PLUS PLAYOFFS
Roster size minimum of 10 players up to 12 players for 6v6
Once a division is full, registration will be closed β€” sign up early!
Teams will not be allowed to have fewer players than the league minimum if free agents are waiting to be placed.

Note: The number of teams per division may increase depending on enrollment in other divisions.


FALL  2026 KEY DATES (PreK–6th Grade)

  • Registration Begins: June 1st 

  • Registration Closes: July 26th 

  • Uniform Order: Done at registration: (ALL 2026 FALL FLAG LEAGUE PLAYERS/TEAMS MUST ORDER NEW UNIFORMS)

  • Mandatory Coaches Meeting: August 6th

  • Practices Begin: August 11th (COACHES MUST HAVE 2026 FALL BADGE TO SCHEDULE PRACTICE)

  • Regular Season Begins: August 22nd

  • ALL League BYE Week September 5th 

  • Regular Season Ends: October 10th

This league will improve the skill and confidence of each player in football while developing character through teamwork and encouragement.

PSO league divisions are grade-based, not birthdate-based. A player is eligible for his/her grade level or higher. NO grade-down exceptions except via the formal grade exception rule or documented medical/physical reasons with league approval.

Free agents will be placed on teams that still have roster spots. Teams will not be allowed to have fewer players than the minimum if free agents are waiting to be placed.

Note: Some divisions may be combined if there are not enough teams in one age group. The Fall 2026 season will have 7 regular season games plus playoffs PSO guarantees a minimum of 6 games for the Fall 2026 season.


GAME DATES

Saturday game dates (PK–6th): (possible doubleheaders for some divisions depending on number of teams for that specific division) August 22nd,29th.  September 12th,19th,26th. October 3rd,10th.
Playoffs October 17th Semifinals and October 19th - 24th TBD

Some make-up games may be played on Sunday and on the weeknights. Dates and Times subject to change.


REGISTRATION FEES

  • $155.00 per player β€” includes a flag set for each player.

  • $50.00 UNIFORM FEE (ALL 2026 Fall League players MUST order new uniform at registration. Prior-year's uniforms will not be accepted.)

  • PSO-approved uniforms and flags must be worn during ALL games.

  • Refunds: $25 administration fee; no refunds once practices begin.

  • Some age groups may be combined if registration is insufficient.

HEAD COACHES & ASSISTANT COACHES

PSO exists to share the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ through youth football. Coaches are expected to lead spiritually (prayer and brief devotionals), teach the game, and build character and confidence.


MANDATORY COACH / VOLUNTEER SCREENING PROCESS

All Spring 2026 PSO Football Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Chaplains, and Team Managers are required to register in Touchpoint. After registration you will receive email instructions for:

  1. Submitting an online volunteer background check application (annual requirement)

  2. Completing Ministry Safe / Sexual Abuse Awareness training (training required every two years)

Each team should have a Team Chaplain to lead weekly value lessons and a pre-game prayer. This can be the head coach, assistant coach, or a trusted parent.

UNIFORM ORDERING PROCESS

  1.  All players and teams for upcoming 2026 season MUST order new uniforms this season.

  2. Prior-year's uniforms will not be accepted.  

  3. UNIFORMS ORDERS WILL BE DONE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. (Uniform fee of $50.00 will automatically be added to your cart)

 


PRACTICE SCHEDULES

  • Practices may begin no earlier than August 11th on Prestonwood's Campus. (Coaches must have 2026 Fall Badge to schedule) 

  • Practice days available: Tuesday, Friday, starting at 5:00 pm at PSO fields.

  • No Wednesday practices allowed.

  • Head coaches are responsible for scheduling practice day, time and location. 

  • Teams may practice at local parks if desired.

  • Practice space is not guaranteed, and teams may need to secure alternate practice locations.


LEAGUE SCHEDULES & TEAM FORMATION

  • Free agents placed on teams with open roster spots. Teams may not be below maximum if free agents need placement.

  • PSO accepts full or partial teams. A player cannot be assigned until registration and payment are complete.

  • Two placement pools: Player Pool (new players assigned by zip code/school) and Team Pool (returning players assigned to their previous team unless they request otherwise).


GAME LOCATIONS

Games will be played at:

  • Champions Field (Turf)

  • Lions Stadium (Turf)

  • PSO Grass Football Fields (Grass)
    (Grass practice fields may be used for games/ practices when needed.)

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • No jewelry (necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings) at games β€” taping over jewelry is not allowed. Jewelry must be removed.

  • No pets on sports fields (except marked service animals).


SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

PSO Football emphasizes spiritual growth. Coaches lead weekly devotionals and prayer using value lessons provided via the FCA Coaches app. The Gospel will be presented during the season for players 3rd grade and older, allowing an opportunity to respond.
