Introduction
PSO Fall Developmental DH Baseball Leagues
- It’s a great way to get more development innings for pitchers while watching pitch counts, get more fielding reps and more ABs so your boys are ready to go in the spring
- High School and Select level teams
- Ages available: 9U, 12U and JV (14U–16U)

Divisions - Fall 2023
JV Developmental DH League (ages 14-16)
- $1,400 Team Fee
- All players must register online to be added to the official rosters (no individual registration fee will be added).
- Roster size is at discretion of the manager; all players must be registered and on the official team roster.
- NFHS Rules
- 2 umpires
- 2 x 90min games w/15min break between games (game stops at 90 mins)
- 5 DH Game Dates
- Pitch Count Rule in effect (see below)
- No post-season
- All games played on Saturday's with some Sunday afternoon games scheduled only if needed as runover
- Games will be played on Graham Field and PSO Fields 1 and 2 which are regulation size turf infields
9U and 12U Developmental DH League
- $1400 Team Fee
- All players must register online to be added to the official rosters (no individual registration fee will be added).
- Roster size is at discretion of the manager; all players must be registered and on the official team roster.
- USSSA Rules
- Umpires
- 2 x 90 minute games w/15min break between games (game stops at 90 mins)
- Modified Lead Off and Base Stealing Rules (see below)
- 5 DH Game Dates
- Pitch Count Rule in effect (see below)
- No post-season
- All games played on Saturday's
- Games will be played on PSO Fields 1, 2 and 3 (all turf infields)
9U and 12U Modified Lead Off and Base Stealing Rules
- Lead Offs and secondary leads allowed.
- Runners can't steal until the ball crosses the plate.
- Runners can advance on errant pick off attempts and overthrows as far as they're able.
- 9U no scoring from 3rd on passed ball, wild pitches or catchers dropping the ball.
- 12U scoring from 3rd allowed.
Pitch Count Rule
- Each half inning will be comprised of 25 pitches max.
- Once a pitcher reaches 25 pitches or 3 outs the inning rolls over.
- If a pitcher reaches 25 pitches before getting 3 outs he is allowed to complete pitching to the current batter.
- If there's a pitching change during the inning the combined max number of pitches is 30 before the inning rolls over.
- 9U - no pitcher shall exceed 50 pitches in an outing.
- 12U and JV - no pitcher shall exceed 75 pitches in an outing.
- Coaches are responsible for keeping track of pitch counts each inning.
