PSO offers adult softball in men's or coed leagues. All games are currently played on our beautiful turf softball fields at the Plano Campus of Prestonwood Baptist Church and are officiated by professional umpires.  The league is governed by the official USSSA rules and any amendments that are specific to PSO’s leagues. Each of our leagues is discussed below.

Captains, Read the details below and then click on the appropriate division in the helpful links to the right to register your team and pay the team fee.

PSO Mission Statement

The mission of the Sports Outreach Ministry is to glorify God by introducing Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, using the vehicle of sports and fitness in order to reach out to those around us with the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Steps for Captains/Teams to Register

  1. Create a new account if you have never logged in or log in with existing credentials by using the buttons at the top right of the page.
  2. Click on the appropriate division in the Helpful Link box on the right.
  3. Click on "Sign Up" in the Captain Registration module.
  4. On the next page, click on "Sign Up" beside the correct league and division to highlight that button. Then click "Continue" at the bottom of the page. (Head Coach of an adult league is the same as the captain).
  5. Make sure your name is selected on the next page and click "Continue."
  6. Enter your remaining information. This is where you will enter your Team Name. Your registration will not be complete and you cannot be added to the schedule unless you pay the team fee. You will get a confirmation email once registration is complete.
  7. Your team page is created! (A link to your team page can be found on your account page or by finding your team in "Team Central" at the top of all pages.)  Go to your team page and click on the "Roster" tab.  Then click on the "Manage Roster Invites" button.  From here you can invite players to your team by entering their email address. This page also tells you how many players have joined your team and what the minimum and maximum players per team are. Plus, the team code is on this page too. You can pass this code out to anyone who you would like to join your team. When you enter emails on this page, each email sent will already include the team code.

Captains, Keep in mind that there is a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 16 players per team.

Player Registration

Players on a team need to get the team code from their captain before registering.  Use the link in the email from the captain or click the appropriate division below to register (you must have the team code).  If you do not have a team and wish to be placed on a team, email Corey Thomas at [email protected] and he will give you the waiting list information.  If you do not have a team, there is no guarantee that we will be able to place you on a team.

Coed Softball Registration

Teams

Team captains must register their team by completing the coach registration and paying the team fee of $400 for Coed and Men's.  Players will register for free and pay the team captain their portion of the team fee. We ask that there be at least three non-Prestonwood members on each team, but is not required.  Each team will have a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 16.

After completing the team coach registration, the captain must send invites to the team players for them to register (see registration instructions on the softball introduction page). This invite can be sent through the team page.

All other players must register online. Players on a team should get the team code from the captain before registering. Please make sure you know your team name and captain before registering.

Teams

PSO Adult Softball uses the 12" softballs only. Softballs will be provided to the Umpires each game.
