After registration closes, can my child still join a team?
After registration closes, we will start a waiting list.  Using that list, we will start placing players on teams that are in need of players.  If you would like to be put on the waiting list, please send the following information to Liberty Higashida at  libertyltaylor@yahoo.com.

• Player's name

• Parent's name and phone number

• Player's current grade

• Player's gender (we can't always tell by the name).

• Player's height in inches

• Player's skill level on a scale of 1 to 10 where 5 is average for the players age and gender.

Coaches

Many want to know why PSO rates so highly with parents and children. We want the coaches to be difference-makers and to that end, we will provide training to help the coaches be the best they can be. 95% of our coaches are parents of a child on the team.  If you are looking for a way to make a positive impact and grow as an individual we encourage you to volunteer as a coach and together we will succeed for the children. All of our coaches are required to go through a certification process and complete background check.  They are also required to help us referee games.  We believe that our coaches make the best referees because they better understand what we are trying to accomplish in our league.  It also helps them become a better coach by putting them in a position to make sure they know the rules.

A coaches application can be downloaded HERE.  Simply complete in detail, sign, date and fax to the attention of Brad Freeman to 972-820-5200.  Also, during registration please note your intentions to coach or assist in coaching in the "Preferred Coach / Additional Information" box.

Uniforms

A game t-shirt, jersey and pair of shorts are included in your registration fee.  Please select the correct size during registration.  It is strongly recommended that you attend the evaluation day and try on sample uniforms to confirm or correct sizes.  Once the uniforms are ordered, we are not able to switch out sizes.

Can We Sign Up as a Team

NO, players will be placed on teams according to evaluation scores. The coach preference field on the registration form  is only for those players who's parent is going to coach the team.  If two parents want to coach together, they should list both their name and their coaching partner's name in the preferred coach box.  Although other parents may help with the team, there will only be a head coach and 1 assistant coach for each team. 

Carpool Link

Carpool links are only considered under special circumstances.  Parents of both children must submit their request in writing to our commissioner, Sam Coughenour.  You can contact him at sam@ebsatwork.com.  If approved by our board, he will let you know what you need to do.

Registration Fees

The cost per child is $120. There is a $10 discount if you register before October 1st. There will be a $35 late fee for all registrations after October 12, 2007.

Player Participation

Each child will receive equal playing time through the game.

Can You Volunteer?

Absolutely! We have many needs. You can volunteer for as little as two hours per season. Contact our Upward commissioner at: sam@ebsatwork.com.
