Please Contact

for more specific information.
The Prestonwood Panthers Select
Basketball Club has undergone some changes. We
have changed the boys program to EAGLES and the girls program to ANGELS.
Our restructured program is run and managed by people committed to
basketball and spiritual excellence. The program will help young
basketball players continue their skill development so they can reach
their goals and fulfill their potential as athletes and as young adults.
Throughout the year, the select teams will compete in top area and
regional league and tournament play as well as traveling to national
showcase events.

THREE DIVISIONS OF SELECT PLAY
(1st & 2nd grade) |
No teams are available; however, we do offer basic
development programs for boys with good athletic ability and/or
advanced basketball skills. A 2nd grader who is good enough can play
on a 3rd grade team. |
Division I
(3rd, 4th & 5th grade) |
Critical development time for basketball players.
Specific Boys Select Teams are formed that stay together and move from
one session, as well as one grade, to the next. Teams play top
league and tournament schedules. |
Division II
(6th, 7th & 8th grade) |
Premium teaching area for basketball. Boys have
enough strength and coordination to learn advanced individual and
team skills. More travel on regional and national basis. |
Division III
(9th, 10th & 11th/12th grade)
|
For above average 9th or 10th grade boys looking to
make HS varsity or 11th/12th grade boys with college hopes. Individual
skill development is stressed. Teams travel more including national
tournaments and showcase events. |
THREE SESSIONS PER YEAR
Session I: Aug - Oct
Session II: Nov - Feb
Session III: Mar - Jul
Once teams are formed, they move from one session to the
next with only a limited number of openings for any new players. Players,
who have been accepted into the program, buy their own uniform and pay a
monthly fee to offset charges for equipment, practice time, skill camps,
leagues and tournaments. A limited number of scholarships are also
available.
PROJECTED COST OF CLUB
MEMBERSHIP*
Div I (3rd - 5th) = $85 /month plus uniform package
Div II (6th - 8th) = $115/month plus uniform package
Div III (6th - 8th) = $135/month plus uniform package
