Spring Baseball Leagues

**THE AGE OF THE PLAYER ON MAY 1ST OF THE PLAYING SEASON IS CONSIDERED THE LEAGUE ELIGIBLE PLAYING AGE**

Grade Exception Rule:
PSO does have a "grade exception" rule in effect which allows kids to play "down", even though they are considered league age eligible to play in the next division up.  As long as they are still in the same grade as those playing in the league down they  are allowed to play with their classmates.  Proof of grade must be submitted for approval by the league leadership of PSO to allow older players to play down with their classmates.

PSO offers leagues from 3 - 14 year olds. Detailed information for each league is below.
Registration links for each division can be found at the bottom of this page.

TEAM FEES

Team fees are available in all division.  Team fees must be paid in full in one payment.  Benefits include:

  • Guaranteed early league rates if paid prior to the registration deadline and if roster is at its maximum required capacity
  • Allows teams to keep their rosters at the minimum required capacity without risk of PSO adding players to their rosters.  If the roster number is below the required minimum then players will be added by the PSO League Leadership to make up the difference!  TEAMS MUST HAVE THE LEAGUE MINIMUM OF PLAYERS REGISTERED TO AVOID ADDITION OF POOL PLAYERS!
  • Players MUST be on a coach's roster turned in to our front office to be eligible for the team fee.
  • If a team fee is not paid PSO reserves the right to add players to teams from the pool up to the maximum limit.
  • 12U Select & 14U Select are set up as team fee registrations (individuals without teams cannot register).  All other divisions are set up for individual registration.  Coaches in those divisions that want to register by paying the team fee, please contact Gail Mixon at gmixon@prestonwood.org for instructions.
