Welcome to PSO Tackle Football!

Click on Key Dates above for all dates that pertain to this league.

Register your child for Football by clicking on "My Account" then on "Register Now" beside the participant name. All available programs for your child's age will be available for sign up.

2017 PSO Football League Rules

Tackle League

Division 2 (2nd Grade)
Games are 11 on 11 tackle format with a maximum of 22 players and a minimum of 18 players on each team. As players begin contact, emphasis is placed on appropriate techniques taught through the NFL Heads Up Football program. Coaches are certified through this program and are on the field with players during games. In this division only if there are not enough players/teams to fill a full division, kids/teams will be allowed to play "up" in the 3rd grade division only. Score is kept and there will be post season playoffs.  Check the rules for complete details.  Players are assigned to requested teams, if space is available; otherwise, they must attend a combine camp (listed on the key dates page) where they will be evaluated and assigned to a team.  These players will be contacted after the camp by the coach of the team that they are assigned to.
      

Division 3 (3rd Grade)
Games are 11 on 11 tackle format with a maximum of 22 players and a minimum of 18 players on each team. More advanced fundamentals are taught and emphasis is placed on appropriate techniques taught through the NFL Heads Up Football program. Coaches are certified through this program and are on the field with players during games. Score is kept and there will be post season playoffs.  Check the rules for complete details.  Players are assigned to requested teams, if space is available; otherwise, they must attend a combine camp (listed on the key dates page) where they will be evaluated and assigned to a team.  These players will be contacted after the camp by the coach of the team that they are assigned to.  

Division 4 (4th Grade)
Games are 11 on 11 tackle format with a maximum of 22 players and a minimum of 18 players on each team. League Fees

PSO league fees do NOT include the cost of a uniform or equipment.

* $25 will be deducted from the registration fee of $180 at checkout for those who register by June 30th, the Early Bird Registration deadline. There is no Early Bird Discount after June 30th.
Registration closes on July 28th at midnight. Registrations allowed after this date will include a $25 late fee applied at checkout.
A registration refund can be obtained (less $25) prior to August 1st, after which there is no refund. Please encourage your child to honor his commitment to play.

Player Weights

No child is excluded because of weight. Parents often fear that larger players might fall on a smaller player and cause injury. Football is one of the safest children's team sports. Few serious injuries ever occur and every effort is made to protect children. All players must be weighed by the weight deadline (see Key Dates) by PSO staff and this will be their playing weight for the season. The ball carrier weight in tackle leagues cannot exceed:
