Low Impact Aerobics


Give it a try! First time is Free.

Classes meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8-9 AM in SFC Room 208

THE PROGRAM

  1. Low-impact aerobics emphasize less bouncing or jumping. It is for all ages, with less stress on the joints and ligaments.
  2. Motivating music done to the beat makes this fun and energizing. (It will lift your spirit and make you move)!
  3. Classes start with 8-10 minutes of stretching and isolation movements to warm up and limber.
  4. This is followed by 30-35 minutes of low impact aerobics which strengthens the heart, lungs and cardiovascular system.
  5. This class will help reduce fat and raise the metabolism.
  6. This is followed by arm exercises (using hand held weights) and mat work.
  7. Specific attention will be paid to problem areas such as abdomen, hips, buttocks and legs.
  8. Don’t forget the push ups.
  9. Class will end with a cool down.

Work it all out safely in this class and have FUN doing it

PARTICIPANTS

  • Prestonwood Members
  • Non Prestonwood Members
  • Register at the front desk (Sports and Fitness Center)
  • Bring a mat, towel and spill proof water bottle

COST

  • $40 per month (pay on the 1st)
  • $48 for a punch card good for 8 classes (no time limit)
  • $7 per class for drop ins
  • First time FREE
